During the Indian Festival of Diwali, the Hindus celebrate the Hindu festival of Hindijaankari. During this festival, people decorate their houses with colorful lights, make sweets and eat special food. During this festival, people also pay homage to Bhagwan Shri Rishabhdev. It is believed that he was the first to make the Indian people realize the importance of religion. He is also known to have helped the people by providing them with the means to attain salvation. He is also the founder of the Navratna Order.

    Diwali

During Diwali, Hindus celebrate the victory of good over evil. It is a time to give gifts to family and friends, and celebrate the victory of light over darkness. It is also a time to honor the Goddess Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth and prosperity.

Diwali is celebrated by many people around the world, including in North America. It is a religious holiday, but many people do not know its yogic meaning.

Diwali is one of the most important holidays in India. It consists of five days of celebrations, each day culminating in a celebration of victory. Traditionally, Diwali takes place in the Hindu month of Kartik, though it can be observed all year round.

Diwali is a celebration of light, and it is not uncommon for fireworks to be part of the festivities. The origin of the term Diwali comes from the Sanskrit word deepavali, meaning “row of lights”. The rangoli is a floor art in many parts of India, and it is traditionally made with sand, flower petals, and rice.

    Bhagwan Shri Rishabhdev

Various Jain temples across the country feature the Rishabhanatha. Some of the better known landmarks include the Trilok Teerth Dham in Jaipur, the Dilwara Temples in Udaipur, the Pavagadh temples in Gujarat and the Rishabhdeo temples in Uttar Pradesh. The temple complex is the largest in India and is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year.

The Rishabhanatha also happens to be the namesake of a snazzy little hill in the town of Ayodhya. On this holy ground lies the Shatrunjaya temple, the most important Jain temple in the country. This is where many of the Tirthankaras attained their apex. The temples are in good stead today and are among the finest in the world. The temple complex is a worthy subject of study for both Jain and non-Jain alike.

    Akshaya Tritiya or Akha Teej

Usually, the word Akshaya is used to denote joy, hope, prosperity and success. The Akshaya Tritiya is an important Hindu festival that is celebrated on the third day of the Shukla Paksha of the Hindu month Vaisakh. Among other things, it is a day to celebrate the meeting of Lord Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama.

In addition to this, Akshaya Tritiya is also a day for offering offerings to the Lord Vishnu. It is considered to be one of the most important Hindu calendar days. People also observe a daylong fast on this day.

The Akshaya Tritiya festival is celebrated with many rites and ceremonies. The main ritual involves offering food to Lord Vishnu and offering Him a Homa. It also involves meditation and chanting of holy mantras.

    Gandhi Jayanti

Various activities are held to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday. The day is a national holiday in India. There are different programs organised by the government and the civic bodies. Schools and colleges set various occasions to celebrate the birthday of Bapu. The students participate in various activities, guided by the teachers.

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated to honour the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi. The celebrations are accompanied by prayers and cultural events. The statues of Mahatma Gandhi are decorated with flowers and garlands. A number of art exhibitions are held to highlight snippets of Gandhi’s life.

The United Nations has also declared October 2 as International Day of Non-Violence. This day is celebrated to remember the birth of the “Father of the Nation” and to show world the power of non-violence.

    Rose Day

Historically, the rose was considered the quintessential symbol of love and romance. It became a symbol of war in England during the 15th century. Today, there are over 300 species of roses and roses can be found growing in just about any location. It’s also a good idea to go to a rose garden with your significant other.

The best part is that you can still enjoy your favorite flower at any time of the year. They are a great way to show your loved ones how much you care. Some people even go as far as buying roses for their neighbors.

A rose is actually a succulent and can be enjoyed all year round. In fact, a visit to a rose garden can be a romantic way to spend a Valentine’s Day.
